What exactly is Gods & Glyphs?

Gods & Glyphs is a collection of Gods/Ntru and Hieroglyphics/Mdu Ntr, that have been hand crafted to provide a modern perspective on ancient Egyptian/Kemetic culture. It’s bringing the past to the present, and fusing it with today’s pop culture in the form of toys, books, cartoons, and various other media.

THE MISSION

The main mission of Gods & Glyphs is to serve as a way to introduce audiences to the folklore and spiritual figures from ancient East African cultures and beliefs. Not only that, but also to assist in facilitating an understanding and appreciation for the powerful symbols and language that permeates every part of their society as well.

THE CARDS

It’s been almost 8yrs since their unveiling, and now they are back! With the addition of a new Goddess “Taurt”, the gang is all here and each designed uniquely to showcase their own energy. These cards offer a little bit for everybody! The design concepts are based loosely on the Major Arcana, so anyone familiar with Tarot has something to connect to. The designs are youthful, playful, and colorful, so that children can enjoy them and have a good time identifying the characters and symbols. And with basic enough information about the Gods and Symbols, all learning levels from youth to adults can get a well versed understanding of these ancient concepts.

THE KICKSTARTER

The Kickstarter has ended and the rewards have been claimed by all those who supported the project. A big shout out to all those that made it happen!!!
